Our Lash Extensions are some of the lightest and longest-lasting in the industry, and we use high quality, premium adhesive to ensure you have the best retention. To help you choose the best style that complements your natural features, lifestyle and mood, your stylist will complete a thorough consultation. Classic Eyelash Extensions

The Classic Lash Extensions are “one-to-one” lash application. One eyelash extension is applied to each of your natural lashes. You achieve longer, fuller and well defined eyelashes.

For the Classic Flat, eyelash extensions with a flat tip versus a spherical one are used. This creates a slightly darker eye-line. If you are looking for the most natural appearing extensions, this is the ideal style.

Hybrid Eyelash Extensions

For Hybrid Lash Extensions we create a blend of one-to-one Classic lashes and Volume fans. The Hybrid style creates a blended look designed to represent the varying lengths of natural lashes. If you are looking for a little more volume than the classic looking, this style is perfect. We also offer three levels of fullness - Natural, Medium and Maximum Fullness.

When booking your appointment, let us know your preferred fullness so we can guide you to the correct Hybrid style.

Volume Eyelash Extensions

For Volume Lash Extensions we apply volume fans ranging from 4-8 lashes per fan depending on the requested fullness (Natural, Medium and Maximum fullness). The number of extensions applied is dependent on the health of your natural lashes.

When booking your appointment, let us know your preferred fullness so we can guide you to the correct Volume style.

Mega Volume Eyelash Extensions

For Mega Volume Lash Extensions, sometimes called Russian Volume Lash Extensions we apply 10 eyelash extensions to each natural lash in the form of a "fan". The number of extensions applied is dependent on the health of your natural lashes.

About our Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are not like the strip lashes you can purchase at Walgreens. Glow Up Studio lash extensions are synthetic fibers designed to emulate and elevate your natural eyelashes. We attach a single lash extension or a "fan" of single lash extensions (more on that later) to one natural lash with a specially formulated professional lash glue. We then repeat the process across the upper lash line until your Lash Stylist has created a new and full lash design that gives you beautiful fluttery lashes. They feel like normal eyelashes but enhance what you have, giving you a fuller and longer look. We do not use Amazon sourced or poor quality eyelashes. We have developed our own premium quality Lash Extensions to ensure our lashes are light, soft and comfortable to wear.

Whether you are looking for a natural Classic lash style or something much more glamorous like Volume lashes, we've got you covered! Your Lash Stylist will assess your natural eyelashes during your consultation and help you select the best lash extensions lengths and thickness for your natural lashes.

Lash extension design consultation process

We include a FREE 10-15 minute Lash Consultation with your Lash Stylist with all new full sets. We assess the length of your natural lashes to determine the optimum lash extension length, width, weight and style. Additionally we discuss lash health, aftercare and refill cadence and policy. You also have the option to come in for an eyelash extension consultation ahead of your appointment instead at no cost. We're here to help you have the eyelash extensions of your dreams and a consultation can really help you achieve your beauty goals.

Lash extensions consultation process

Step 1 - Eye shape

There are no standard eyelash extensions that fit all eye types. Your Lash Stylist will assess you eye shape and recommend styles and shapes that will suit you based on the many years of experience they have.

Step 2 - Style choice

Classic lashes, Hybrid lashes, Volume lashes or Mega Volume lashes (see below for more information).

Step 3 - Fullness levels

Classic style will lean towards the most natural fullness level as standard.

Hybrid can be applied with a Natural, Medium or Maximum fullness level.

Volume can be applied with a Natural, Medium, Maximum or Mega fullness level.

Step 4 - Curl choice

CC-Curl or D-Curl will be recommended by your Lash Stylist based on a number of factors.

Step 5 - Length & Diameters choice

We keep a range of diameters (0.03, 0.05, 0.07, 0.15) and lengths (8mm to 15mm) in the salon. A variety of factors from lash health to eye and face shape will influence which lashes are appropriate for you. Your Lash Stylist will advise which they feel is best during your consultation.

Step 6 - Application shape (or drama level!)

From Doll, to Cat, to Squirrel to Sexy, there are many application shapes that can be used to shape the lash extensions in a particular way. These shapes allow you modify the “drama” level you prefer with your lash extensions. Again your Lash Stylist can guide you on which is appropriate for you.

Full Set versus a Lash Refill (or lash fill)

Full set of eyelash extensions: This is the application of a completely new and fresh set of lash extensions on both eyes. If this is your first time getting eyelash extensions, or you are returning to us, this is where you will start. Depending on your style choice, expect to be with us up to two hours. (If you are choosing Mega Volume lashes, expect to be with us up to three hours). Any good Lash Technician will tell you, it takes time to create perfection!

Lash extensions refill: Every two to three weeks you can expect to lose 20%-30% of your natural lashes. As you shed natural lashes you take our lashes with you. To keep your lashes looking their best you will need regular appointments to “refill” your eyes with new lash extensions. These are called Lash Refills or Lash Fills. We have designed our Lash Fills & Beauty Savings Plans to come with two refill appointments a month, each saving you 20% on your refills. Plan to be with us for at least an hour each time. (Unless it is for Volume Mega where you will need 75 mins).

Removing lash extensions

The lash adhesive used to attach extensions works by bonding the eyelash extensions on the natural lashes. This means, if you try to pull out the extensions, you pull out the natural lashes as well. 

If you no longer want the extensions on your eyes, it is highly recommended to return to the salon to see a professional so that they can remove them without damaging the natural lashes.

While it is not advised, if you cannot get to a professional you can remove eyelash extensions at home. Use this helpful article on “Removing your eyelash extensions at home” to guide you through the process.
